The Lowe's & Dremel Corporations sponsor a Derby Design Contest every year. This contest was featured in the January 2005 edition of the BSA Scouting magazine. Scouts may enter a photograph of their 2005 Pinewood Derby Car for a chance to win one of several prizes. Grand Prize Finalists will have their Derby Car photographs featured in the Dremel Derby Monthly Dispatch Newsletter and the next year's Derby Design Contest.
